Day 3

Sam has completed Day 3 of his walk and has safely arrived in Scotch Corner.
His meanderings today have taken him through the countryside of North Yorkshire, and by the dales.
Sam mused at the end of his days walking that "I've never seen so many cows and sheep, and the countryside smells of s**t!!".

Having set off bright and early this morning, Sam had a slight change of route as he was heading in the wrong direction, and was also heard to comment "bloody North East, it's sodding raining!".

Having struggled through the light drizzle (which we now believe was the cause of the chafing), Sam made it back to the A1 and onto Scotch Corner in record time, only to find that all the cash machines were out of order and the 30p in his pocket was not going to get him a room for the night and a hot meal, at this point Sam would like to thank his sponsors for supplying the Kit Kat chunky that he had for lunch!

Luckily, the network came to the rescue and Sam has both a room and some cash in his pocket.
