good on ya mate. i played plenty of footy with Mickey in the 2's for Southgate in the mid 90's and he was a top bloke and back bone of the club. All the best for the journey. Look forward to keep a track of your progress. Kia Kaha - Al Drayton

We (northern friends of former Southgate player Geoff Robinson)walked the first (or warm-up!) leg with 8 & 4 year old daughters from Newcastle Falcons ground to Gateshead Hilton today - a mere 5 miles.
Great commitment to a good cause & memory.

Day 3
Sam is off and "walking" again today and hoping to reach Scotch Corner this evening.
Today could be one of his hardest days, he has a long way to go, and it isn't flat up there!!!
